Ryan Sessegnon is capping off the end of an award-winning year with another accolade.

The 18-year-old Fulham star is one of ten young stars to make the shortlist for BBC Young Sports Personality of the Year, which recognises the brightest young talents in British sport.

In his breakthrough season, Sessegnon starred in Fulham's promotion to the Premier League in 2017/18, scoring 15 goals and being named Championship Player of the Year, as well as EFL Young Player of the Season and PFA Fans' Championship Player of the Year.

Manchester City's Phil Foden won the award in 2017, while other previous winners include Wayne Rooney and Andy Murray. Other nominees up against Sess include athlete Max Burgin, Tennis starlet Jack Draper and para-athlete Kare Adenegan.
