David Beckham has just signed a multi-year deal with HUGO BOSS, with the football and fashion icon set to design multiple menswear collections for the German clothing brand’s BOSS line.

The collaboration is a first for BOSS, with the partnership including multiple capsules and seasonal collections spanning formal and casual designs over the next few years. Merging Beckham’s style and aesthetic with BOSS’ high-end tailoring, upcoming collections are ones to look out for.

This isn’t Beckham’s first rodeo in the world of fashion design, with the former England star collaborating on collections with H&M in the past, as well as a partnership with Kent & Curwen. A partnership with BOSS, however, is a cut above the rest.

Beckham isn’t the first baller to partner with a luxury fashion brand, with Burberry linking up with everyone from Marcus Rashford to Bukayo Saka in recent years, and Jude Bellingham recently signing a deal with Louis Vuitton.

When it comes to players designing collections, the numbers are much lower, but  Beckham is leading the way for more footballers to embrace the industry in more ways than a front row Fashion Week seat.

With the first David Beckham x HUGO BOSS collection landing for the SS25 season, football’s biggest fashion icon is back and better than ever.
