Cult London label House of Errors have dropped a new collection inspired by the beautiful game. Featuring knitted versions of iconic strips, the capsule is the latest in a series of bangers for the high-concept, detail-focused brand.
The Errors design team have dipped into their Lost Files bag for this one, remixing France's '98 World Cup strip and prime-Joga Bonito Brazil '02, into heavy short-sleeved knits. A Jorge Campos-style keeper top and Arsenal's famous Bruised Banana design complete the best line up since Guardiola's Barcelona. Each shirt looks to be accompanied by a pair of unreleased matching shorts, too.
The campaign, shot in the Pyrenees by Tom Emmerson (the mind behind friend of VERSUS AntsLive's ambitious videos), captures the shirts in action: kicking, sliding and headbutting their way through the French mountains. 'The Pen', a short film accompanying the drop, manages to capture the real emotion of the beautiful game.
The House of Errors 'Knitted Football Tops' collection is available to purchase now at houseoferrors.org. Take a closer look at the collection below.
