Deontay Wilder is making serious noise about fighting Anthony Joshua.

The WBC heavyweight champion put AJ's team on notice in a video he released via Twitter last night, claiming that an offer has been tabled to the British fighter and his team, which would guarantee Joshua $50 million for the fight.

Before last night, it wasn't clear just how serious Wilder was about fighting Anthony Joshua, and this is the first time that the American's team have reportedly made a firm offer to Joshua's camp.

Speaking after the video was released, AJ's promoter Eddie Hearn – via iFLTV – said the offer needs to be taken seriously:

"I got an email from Deontay Wilder, basically offering a 50/50 split of the fight, which isn't of interest, but with a $50m guarantee which is of interest.

It said to please accept this fight by tomorrow, which makes it feel like a PR move, especially since it has come from Deontay. But we have to take it seriously."

Since then, it's been revealed that AJ and his team want to know four things before entertaining Wilder's offer.

Eddie Hearn stated that they WILL consider the offer from Deontay Wilder if...

1️⃣ The money is secure
2️⃣ They receive a contract
3️⃣ The venue is revealed
4️⃣ They can honour Joshua’s existing rights deals [with Sky as UK broadcaster for example]

Hearn and Joshua have made it known that they'd rather have the fight at Wembley Stadium, while Wilder is adament that more money can be made by fighting stateside.

Let's see how far these negotiations really go.
