After conquering Wembley and the Millennium Stadium, Anthony Joshua is setting his sights on another of the UK's legendary sport venues.
According to Matchroom Boxing chairman Barry Hearn, Old Trafford is being lined up as one of three possible venues – and the only one in the UK – to host Anthony Joshua's next world title fight.
Speculation has been running wild over Anthony Joshua's future, with three possible opponents currently on the table. AJ could face one of Deontay Wilder, Jarrell Miller or Alexander Povetkin in his next fight.
According to Hearn, who spoke with Betfred, a fight with Povetkin would be set for the home of Manchester United:
"There are three main dishes on the menu. Fight Deontay Wilder either home or away, face Jarrell Miller in New York to spread gospel in America before we fight Wilder, or do we honour our mandatory and fight Povetkin, with it being maybe at Manchester United. It is a possibility."
It's about time somebody brought a title back to Old Trafford.
