It looks we know who Anthony Joshua is backing on August 26th.

The unified heavyweight champion of the world has dropped in on pound-for-pound king Floyd Mayweather at his Mayweather Boxing Club facility out in Las Vegas.

The two fighters previously met in London earlier this year when Mayweather was in the country to promote TMT fighter Gervonta Davis ahead of his fight with Liam Walsh.

Mayweather has said he wants to train AJ in Las Vegas.

At the time, it was reported that Mayweather invited AJ out to his base in Las Vegas so that ‘Money’ can coach the heavyweight king.

Mayweather told Fight Hype: “You have to respect AJ but we have to bring him to the Mayweather Boxing Club as we want to tighten that defence up until it’s real, real sharp and real, real slick. I’m not trying to move his trainers out the way but there’s things we want to tweak…his last fight went 11 rounds but really it could have gone three.”
