New Balance has released a limited edition Lunar New Year collection in partnership with Italian footballing giants AS Roma.

The Wolves celebrate The Year of the Tiger with a bespoke eight-piece capsule featuring a range of apparel including a graphic tee, hoodie, 237 sneaker and a football.

The focal point of all designs is the tiger. Although emblazoned on the hoody, the tees go for a more subtle approach choosing to incorporate the animal’s face as a tonal sublimated graphic across both tops, using colours associated with the Giallorossi’s home and away kits.

The 237 sneaker silhouette comes in navy but is brought to life with deep red NB branding, plus the inclusion of the iconic Lupette logo on the sneakers’ tongues. Each insole features a golden tiger face, a nod to the zodiac creature.

The collection also includes some off-field pieces in the form of a cap, bobble hat and scarf. Each stitched with a golden tiger emblem, keeping in theme with the capsule’s design.

The release is a part of NB’s ‘Only Roma’ campaign for the 2021/22 season in recognition of Roma as a way of life.
