Images via PR New Balance Football have announced the signing of 17-year-old wonderkid Endrick to their roster of young athletes.The recently signed Real Madrid sensation joins New Balance as part of the brand’s commitment to championing the next generation of talent.Ahead of the announcement, the player also revealed limited-edition gold New Balance boots. The ‘Accolade’ Tekela v4+ Low boots have been created bespoke to Endrick to celebrate his call-up to the Brazil national squad and his role in Palmeiras claiming the Brazilian top-flight league title.Endrick was under contract with Nike until February 2023, after which the sports brand had a six-month window to extend their contract with the striker.Following this period, talks amongst competitor brands looking to add Endrick to their rosters took place, but New Balance came out on top having impressed him with the level of prominence they could guarantee compared to the likes of Nike, adidas and PUMA – brands that already having some of the game’s biggest names on their rosters.Endrick said: “It is a great honour to join the New Balance family and partner with a brand that is aligned with the same core values that I embody both on and off the pitch.
