Spurs are closing to signing England youngster Ryan Sessegnon from Fulham following a reported breakthrough in discussions between the two clubs.
The rumoured fee is set to be around the £20 million mark according to The Telegraph, with Fulham set to use the cash generated from the sale on Spurs midfielder Josh Onomah, with winger Georges-Kevin Nkoudou also of interest to The Cottagers.
Onomah and Nkoudou were both left off Tottenham’s tour to Asia and are likely to move on before the end of the window, with Fulham’s interest in Onomah and Nkoudou having helped to see Sessegnon become a Tottenham player in the coming weeks.
Sessegnon, who only has one year remaining on his Fulham contract, is set to link up with the North London side after being told he'll have the opportunity to get first-team chances under Mauricio Pochettino this season.
In other young baller news, Jadon Sancho has backed Rhian Brewster to make his Liverpool breakthrough next season.
