New Balance and Eberechi Eze come together to officially unveil the 'Furon 7 Starraiser Edition', a new collaboration between the brand and one of South London's biggest stars.

After debuting the boot on-pitch in a goalscoring performance with Crystal Palace this past weekend, the official reveal gives a closer look at a release that's inspired by Eze's Greenwich roots.

The 24-year-old worked closely with NB's design team on the 'Starraiser', drawing on his early memories of playing football in Greenwich Park, home of the famous Royal Greenwich Observatory. The green graphics running across the boot are inspired by the constellation of stars viewable from the observatory, symbolising his drive to reach for the stars.

The 'Blue Moonshadow' colourway is reminiscent of the kit worn by Eze's first team as a junior player. To launch the boot, Eze came together with a current age group from the same club to show what's possible for young people looking to follow in his footsteps.

Speaking on the new drop, Eze said: "It’s a really special moment to see a colourway inspired by my journey. My years playing football in Greenwich have had a massive impact on the player I am today, so being able to pay homage to that journey is incredible. Hopefully my journey can inspire more young players from around the world to keep pushing for the stars and to achieve their dreams."
