Bukayo Saka and New Balance have linked up to drop the Arsenal and England winger's first signature boot, a new Furon V7 inspired by his come up in West London.
Born and raised in Ealing, the Arsenal man became the youngest person ever to receive the Freedom of the Borough following his performances at Euro 2020.
Now, he's celebrating where he grew up in front of the world. Taking inspiration from the Ealing coat of arms, a decorative baroque oak leaf print is applied in vibrant red across the boots' upper. The words ‘Progress’ and ‘Unity’, taken from the borough's motto, are featured at the heel in a striking silver.
Saka worked closely with New Balance on the boots, adding unique details to the boots' outer design and insole motif.
“I am so proud to have grown up in Ealing," said Saka. "Everyone from West knows what it means to represent our side of London, it’s a special feeling. It feels unreal to have a boot that so many people will be able to relate to, it truly is a dream come true”.
The boot marks another notable step in the rise of Bukayo, with his first signature boot reflecting his new position among the elite of English football.
The Furon v7 Bukayo Saka Signature Edition will be available from January 19 from select retailers and online at New Balance.
