Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur will play one another in a pre-season friendly in Hong Kong, the first time in history a North London Derby will be held outside of the United Kingdom.

The fixture will take place on July 31 at the Kai Tak Stadium, a 50,000 seater venue that opened at the beginning of March – the game is part of the Hong Kong Football Festival that will also see AC Milan play Liverpool.

This will also mark the first time in 13 years that Arsenal’s men’s first team have travelled to the region, giving Hong Kongese fans the chance to experience a NLD match-up live and direct.

Along with the chance to witness some of the Premier League’s best ballers in the flesh, both clubs will also participate in local community activities as a way to learn more about their Hong Kong fans' cultures and customs.

There are fewer big occasions in English football than the North London Derby so shoutout to both clubs for providing their Asian fanbases with the opportunity to experience a match-up so special.

Ticket details will be announced in the coming days with further information about both clubs’ pre-season tours also following.
