adidas Originals are dropping a cold clothing collaboration with leading London-based alternative music and culture platform NTS Radio.
Named after NTS' motto – 'DON’T ASSUME'– the collaboration came together via a "shared appreciation for homegrown spirit with a global outlook". The pair's debut capsule collection serves up a premium lifestyle offering, with 8 piece collection featuring plenty of inspiration from the beautiful game.
The collection includes home, away and goalkeeper jerseys and dual-branded versions of adidas Originals latest ‘SPRT’ tracksuit, and completed with a premium panelled hooded sweatshirt all with subtle graphical detailing illustrating the pieces against a clean black, white and green colour offering.
The collection's goalkeeper Jersey also features Hackney’s cult Caribbean restaurant ‘Peppers and Spice’ as a sponsor, as recently featured on the late Anthony Bourdain’s TV series Parts Unknown. Check out Lee 'Scratch' Perry and other NTS residents and friends modelling the new collab collection below.
Each of the artists involved in the lookbook will also be presenting a one-off ‘Don’t Assume’ radio show live on NTS - a chance to play out different styles of music than what they’re usually known for – make sure you tune into NTS over the next few days to listen to the mixes.
The collection will release in adidas Originals stores, online and through NTS on May 25th.
