Burna Boy has finally dropped off his fourth studio album 'African Giant', and he's created his most accomplished project to date.
The 19-track project showcases Burna at his most clear and controlled, with the Nigerian superstar dropping off an album that shows an understanding for his position, his understanding of poverty and wealth, and the importance of the daily grind.
Showcasing his versatility across a soundscape that encompasses pop heaters alongside hip-hop and R&B influences as well as his idiosyncratic blend of Afrobeat and reggae, the project also draws for heavyweight features from Jorja Smith, Future, YG, Jeremih and more.
Speaking about the album to Apple Music, Burna Boy said, “You understanding what I’m saying is secondary. The primary thing is what does the person inside of you hear? What does your spirit hear? That’s the job of music—that’s what it’s supposed to do.”
