adidas Spezial has just linked up with Hamza Choudhury, Alfie Devine and Kieran Tierney to spotlight their latest selection of refined footwear and apparel pieces.

Fusing timeless and functional details together in clothing that reinterpret military aesthetics and outerwear-inspired details, Spezial's latest collection features six fresh footwear styles for Pre-Spring '22. The collection’s footwear selection features five unique silhouettes across six slick styles which feature plenty of hardwearing materials for outdoor use.

The Moscrop SPZL is a completely reworked shoe inspired by the archival Raider silhouette using a Cordura upper combined with suede accents, the distinctive look stays true to the brand’s hybrid approach, while the classic Winterhill SPZL continues silhouette is reworked with speckled laces, a technical ripstop upper, suede accents, and an adi-Tex membrane.

The LothertexSPZL features leather upper, a gusset tongue, and a technical, adi-Tex membrane. The Carnforth SPZL, meanwhile, is a seasonal take on a leisure shoe. A new hybrid, designed for outdoor-lovers, the silhouette features a full-grain leather upper.

There are also two vibrant colourways of the Barrowland SPZL cap off the footwear offering, with the new silhouette featuring a classic terrace flat look, fresh suede uppers and gum outsoles.

adidas Spezial’s Pre-Spring 2022 collection also features a number of military-inspired garments – led by the Barrowland Jacket. Based on the classic Horwich anorak from SS17, the fully functional outerwear piece features technical pocket details and sealed seams, while the Trongate Jacket offers a carefully considered construction with a multi-pocket chest, sealed seams, and a mesh lining.

There's also a Modtrefoil Crew is updated with a brushed cotton inner and a  Meanwood Polo given a khaki colour refresh, alongside a new Anderston Top and Pant that round out the apparel selection as a matching set.

The launch of the collection is headlined by stills from the heralded music photographer Kevin Cummins – who captured intimate portraiture of Arsenal F.C.’s Kieran Tierney, Leicester City F.C.’s Hamza Choudhury, and Spurs' Alfie Devine.
