The Britsh music scene is undoubtedly at one of the healthiest points it has ever been in the last few years, with an influx of diverse talents from a melting pot of different soundscapes and genres.

Demonstrating this new wave of eclectic talent in UK music, YouTube Music have compiled a list of artists who are set to blow in 2019, with several familiar names popping up that will be looking to further cement their status as 'next up'.

In a press release, YouTube said "From the R&B soul of Mahalia to slowthai’s unforgettable unique rap, the list is defined by musicians who are pushing boundaries and, in some instances, creating new genres. The list is also notable for not featuring any groups, comprising ten solo artists reflective by trends, views and insights on YouTube."
