London-based Gabriel Moses has linked up with Liverpool and Belgium striker Divock Origi to produce a beautifully shot short film titled 'A Portrait of Divock Origi'.
At just 21 years of age, Moses has already produced a host of candid, artistically-captured photography and films for Off-White, Matthew Williams Alyx and Obey Giant founder Shepard Fairey through to young talent such as British light heavyweight Joshua Buatsi, and Chelsea and England forward Callum Hudson-Odoi.
Now, Moses has linked up with a man who has written himself into Liverpool folklore after his late strikes in the Merseyside derby, Arsenal and the Champions League final to provide a deeper, personal look at the man behind the magic.
Speaking about the film, Moses said, "The aim of the film was to paint a picture of Divock as a human being as opposed to a footballer, through a series of portraits & vignettes – they are almost like moving still images."
Origi himself provides a personal account of what motivates him as a person in the film's dialogue, which explores his recent life living in Liverpool while capturing him overlooking the city and in the stands at Anfield.
