Post-punk band Fontaines D.C. have teamed up with Dublin’s Bohemian FC to launch a new football shirt for Palestine aid.
The band’s logo acts as the sponsor for the Irish club’s 24/25 third alternative jersey, and is a one-off edition designed by guitarist Carlos O’Connell in collaboration with Bohemian FC.
This is the second time the duo have collaborated on a football jersey having previously joined forces back in 2021 to support homelessness charity, Focus Ireland. Their latest design will raise funds for Medical Aid For Palestinians (MAP) amid the ongoing Israeli occupation.
The jersey is an homage to the band’s award-winning fourth album ‘ROMANCE’ released earlier this year, with its colourway made up of ethereal pink, blue and green tones – reminiscent of the album itself. An embroidered hem tag features a Palestinian flag with the words: “Saoirse don Phalaistín” - Irish for “Free Palestine”.
The limited-edition jersey is available to purchase on the Bohemian club store now.
