Newcomers Not3s, IAMDDB and Yxng Bane have been named in this year's BBC Sound Of 2018 longlist.

Priding itself on highlighting the stars of tomorrow, the predominantly female list is put together by selections from worldwide music industry experts.

Having witnessed over the space of this year, the impact of Yxng Bane and his brand afro-fusion rap, IAMDDB's magnetic charisma, and Not3s meteoric rise from breakout hit "Addison Lee," all three are thoroughly deserving of spots here.

There's well over a month before the top 5 and eventual winner is announced, so you'd be best placed to have a flick through the acts you haven't heard of. From the aching tones of teen songwriter Rex Orange County, to the stylings of Finish popstress ALMA.

The Top 5 will be revealed on BBC Radio 1 from Monday 8th January 2018.
