Ten years on from their ‘Golden Year’, it’s only fitting that Corinthians’ new third shirt pays homage to where history was made.

The Swoosh drop the jersey to mark ten years since Timão crossed the Pacific to make history by beating Chelsea in Yokohama. Japanese elements take centre stage for this release as a nod to their Club World Cup success a decade ago.

Timão takes Nike’s template which arrives in a clean cream colourway, with black Japanese text that reads “Here is Corinthians!” repeating vertically. As an extra touch, the ‘Hinomaru’ sits neatly on the nape of the neck.

Set to debut this Saturday, the design takes style in South America to another level, as fans’ appetite for shirt culture hits new heights.
