After receiving criticism from both fans and Earps for not selling any of her kits during the Women’s World Cup earlier this summer, Nike released all three – without warning – on Monday October 9, and sold out within several hours. The Manchester United and Lionesses’ goalkeeper won the Golden Glove at the Women’s World Cup earlier this year, where she saved a penalty in England’s 1-0 final defeat to Spain. She was also named 2023’s The Best FIFA Women’s Goalkeeper as well as England’s Player of the Year. After news of the sell-out, Earps took to Instagram to express her delight, posting on her stories: “Didn’t realise these were going on sale today. And you’ve sold them out already!“More are coming before the end of the year, and in more sizes for kids and adults – so stay tuned.“Thank you all for your incredible support on this. You guys have made this happen.”
