Real Madrid starboy Eduardo Camavinga and Congolese-French rapper Tiakola have connected to front the release of Nike’s new Air Max Tailwind.

Calling on the two game-changing stars, Nike are releasing the sneaker in both White/Racer Blue and Black/White colorways, and sees the new updated silhouette take snippets from the archive to create a shoe for the future, inspired by previous iterations of the TW and Air Max models.

Much like the sneaker, the pair, who are both rising in their respective worlds, represent a fearlessness to always be themselves and honour the past whilst paving the way for the next generation.

Speaking to Nike, Takiola discussed the “many links between rap and football”, and how nowadays the two communities have become interlinked – “we have entourages and common friends.”

“The Air Max is mythical. It takes me back to what I was doing before, to when I was a kid and to where I come from” mentioned Camavinga.

The Nike Air Max TW is now available from Nike.com and selected retail stores.
