Jules Koundé has teamed up with French fashion house Jacquemus for the brand’s latest “La Casa” campaign.
Jacquemus are known for their surreal, larger than life storytelling – think oversized deckchairs in the French Riviera and motorised handbags on the streets of Paris – “La Casa” is no different.
Shot on location at Villa Malaparte, Capri – famous for featuring in Jean-Luc Godard’s French New Wave drama, Contempt – Koundé dons monochromatic coastal knits and tailored shorts whilst perched on top of a mountain of suitcases.
In another shot, the France and Barcelona baller is dressed in an all-black ensemble driving a mini car whilst eating an ice-cream. He’s also depicted ironing a classic yellow Jacquemus polo shirt in a preppy, school boy aesthetic that features a blazer and a striped tie.
Having previously worked with the likes of Gigi Hadid, Kendall Jenner and even Bad Bunny, Jacquemus has entered the world of football with his latest campaign. And who better to partner with than one of the most stylish players in the game?
Although Koundé hasn’t been able to get his fits off at club level anymore, courtesy of Hansi Flicks’ recent ‘Tunnel Fit’ ban, he’s taken things to another level with Jacquemus.
