19-year-old Welsh wonderkid Rabbi Matondo bagged his first goal for Schalke this weekend after moving from Manchester City in January.
The rapid winger cooly slotted home to score his first Bundesliga goal on his first appearance of the season for the German club, gliding past highly-rated centre back Dayot Upemacano to put his side 3-0 up on the way to a huge away victory over RB Leipzig.

Matondo became the latest young British player to to make his mark on The Bundesliga after joining fellow Welshman Ethan Ampadu, Reece Oxford, Ademola Lookman, Lukas Nmecha and Jonjoe Kenny (also at Schalke) in the division.

He also of course followed in ex-Man City teammate Jadon Sancho in making the move abroad. Matondo previously spoke to the BBC about asking Sancho about deciding on the move, saying "I spoke to him about this move. He was saying positive things about his time here. It's hard at first when you're away from home but he's enjoying it and you can see on the pitch - he's doing very well at the moment. It's been a good experience so far."
Matondo made his senior international debut for Wales in a friendly game in Albania last November and looks set to feature more prominently for Schalke this season. The future is bright for both Matondo and his country.
