Curtis Jones bagged a banging hat-trick as Liverpool cheffed up Napoli 7-0 in the UEFA Youth League last night.

Jones was on fire throughout proceedings, being the main man leading proceedings by example with the captain's armband on in the young Reds' humiliation of Napoli.

Jones and fellow starlet Harvey Elliott wreaked havoc down the flanks for Liverpool, with Jones completing his hat-trick with an unreal, left-footed screamer to cap another promising performance from the 18-year-old.

Jones and Elliott were involved in a heated exchange after the former dispatched an early penalty in the game, but Jones took to Instagram to thank his "lil bradda" for his assist for his second goal.

Jones now has 5 goals in 4 games in the competition, and has 12 goals and 9 assists in total this season. The victory means that the Reds' U19 side only need a draw away at Red Bull Salzburg in two weeks time to progress to the last 16 – exactly the same result the senior squad require to advance.

In other young baller news, João Félix has just won the 2019 Golden Boy Award.
