Curtis Jones bagged a hat-trick for Liverpool's U23's as Neil Critchley’s team thrashed Sunderland 6-0 – setting up a last 16 showdown in the Premier League Cup.
Jones balled out once again at academy level to prove he's just too good for reserve football, with the 19-year-old bagging a hat-trick in eight minutes, including an absolute rocket from outside the box.
Liverpool's next star boy ran rings around the Sunderland defence with ease and looked way too good for the level he was playing at during the rout, which qualified Liverpool for the knockout stages of the Premier League Cup. Check out his hat-trick below.

Jones is due to step up to senior level more regularly for The Reds in 2020-21 after establishing himself as the Academy's stand out talent, having played played twice in the Premier League and making five appearances in domestic cup competitions this season.
