A new report has revealed that London has come out top of a worldwide study as the gig capital of the world.
Travel giants Expedia analysed data from concert site Songkick, looking at almost 370,000 concerts across 4,000 locations to discover the most popular places for live music.
Amongst the standouts, some key and unexpected insight comes to the fore. Considerably smaller in size, Brighton and Bristol have the fourth and fifth highest number of gigs in the UK after London, Manchester and Glasgow.
