Climate club, Adapt, celebrate their latest initiative that sees them collaboratively partner with renowned climate activists, artists and creatives for a curated online exhibition debuting their latest launch; Protest Gear.
Inspired by football scarfs, the collection contains satire slogans as a creative response to protests. Scarfs will be the first Project Gear offering as part of ever-growing sustainably produced collection.
Protest Gear will come in the form of various collections and will encompass a range of exciting creative outlets, from artist collaborations, online exhibitions, purchasable sustainable pieces and free tools.
For this debut concept, Adapt curated a selection of artists, encompassing their main social passions and causes. Collaborators include Head of Design at Fashion Revolution; Emily Sear, Climate Researcher and Communicator Joycelyn Longdon (aka Climate In Colour), Knitwear designer Mia Rodney, RCA Artist Carolina Lindberg, Digital Artist Anke Sondi and Fashion Designer & founder of DOT+ABOVE Begoña Toledo.
Adapt duo Richard Ashton and Josie Tucker have specially designed two made to order, sustainable scarves to fundraise for Climate NGO, Client Earth. The two scarf designs - reading 'CLIMATE JUSTICE' and 'FUCK YOUR CO2'.
The online exhibition launches on the 30th October with made-to-order styles available to buy through Adapt. All proceeds raised from the scarf sales will be split between project collaborators and donated to Climate NGO; Client Earth.
