Chivas Regal hosted a select number of VERSUS 50 winners for Arsenal’s Champions League game against Shakhtar Donetsk, in a celebration of the trailblazing impact they’ve made on the beautiful game.

Having officially partnered with Arsenal at the start of this current season, Chivas Regal chose to open the doors to their best-in-class suite at Emirates Stadium for a special night that gave some of the most creative names in the grassroots game the ultimate viewing experience for one night only.

Among those in attendance were Girls United CEO, Romina Calatayud, whose organisation uses football coaching to empower girls in London and Mexico. She was joined by designer Sophie Hird – whose produced upcycled items on commission for the likes of Jules Koundé and Rodrigo De Paul – and Saeedah Haque, a creative who’s collaborated with Nike to create the brand’s first Abaya and Niqab, improving inclusivity for Muslim women like her in sport.

All three embody the progressive spirit of VERSUS 50 with Chivas Regal, an innovative list celebrating the individuals who are shaping the future of football, community and culture by making the sport more creative and inclusive than it’s ever been before.

While hospitality experiences at elite clubs have traditionally been the preserve of VIPs, it was only right Chivas Regal invited some ‘VERSUS Important People’ to deservedly experience one of the most elevated fan experiences in the game.

Chivas Regal’s new suite at Emirates gives the traditional hospitality experience a much-needed culture and luxury upgrade. DJ Miracle ensured the vibes were right all night with a special set inside the box, food was provided by Sticks’n’Sushi, and Chivas Regal global brand ambassador Rhys Wilson curated a signature menu of cocktails and mocktails for guests.

It was a perfect backdrop for a night that was a fitting tribute to three individuals who have pushed football forward. This is what the future of the game should look like.
