Red Bull has announced its first Four 2 Score tournament in the UK, taking place on 18 May at Powerleague Liverpool, and have joined forces with Liverpool and England superstar Trent Alexander-Arnold to launch the initiative.
Four 2 Score brings Red Bull’s football philosophy to life by challenging players to show off their best 4-v-4 football skills.
The tournament consists of 10 minute matches - no breaks and no goalkeeper - with goals during the first and last minutes counting for double to reward high risk efforts.
Alexander-Arnold said: “I can’t wait to see Red Bull Four 2 Score brought to life in the UK for the first time next month. The unique format of this tournament focuses on all my favourite parts of the game, such as playing positively at key points in the game and rewarding attacking skills.
"I’m really proud that my hometown of Liverpool will be hosting the UK competition, giving us the chance to showcase the incredible football culture in the city.”
The tournament will be formed of 12 men’s teams and six women’s teams, with the winners of both formats qualifying for the inaugural world final taking place this summer in Leipzig, Germany.
The final will see the winners from all 27 national competitions go head-to-head as Red Bull looks to crown its first ever Four 2 Score champion.
Applications are now open on the tournament website.
