DAZN has secured exclusive rights to air the inaugural 2025 FIFA Club World Cup.
In a landmark deal reportedly worth €1 billion, the streaming platform has agreed to broadcast all 63 games to 200 markets for free. The games will be live-streamed globally in multiple languages, with the possibility of sub-licensed deals to local networks.
DAZN’s partnership with football’s global governing body will start on 5 December, when the Club World Cup draw will be held in Miami and broadcast live.
This news comes after months of searching from FIFA to find a broadcaster to roll out their revised competition.
The tournament takes place in the United States between 15 June and 13 July next year at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami.
