FIFA 18 look set to bring back the update everyone wants.

To tie in with the World Cup this summer, FIFA 18 will reportedly be releasing a World Cup expansion which will feature all 32 teams competing in Russia. A leaked image of the cache reference of the upcoming add-on seems to suggest that EA Sports have this lined up.

Take a look at the leaked image below.

The World Cup game will be an expansion downloadable for FIFA 18 and will be available on Playstation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and Microsoft Windows.

The opening game of the tournament isn't until the 14th June but the release is set to be imminent, with Spanish commentator Manolo Lama already confirming he's had to do extra commentary for the expansion, telling Radio COPE that "I have to record it for FIFA World Cup in December, I think it will be out in February or March."

GOAL report that the release will also feature stadiums, kits, branding and advertising at the tournament, as well updated Ultimate Team player and Man of the Match cards.
