For well over a decade now, grime fans have been waiting for a solo album from east-end legend D Double E.

Not so much a slight on his work rate, as he remains a prolific force touring across Europe but for whatever reason, he'd never quite managed to get his campaign in gear, for that elusive solo LP.

As we usher in 2018, we do so welcoming the news that Double's 'Jackum' will finally arrive and today we get a look at visuals for album single "Better Than The Rest," alongside grime scene godfather Wiley.

Dropped alongside a new interview on Noisey, the Newham General also opened up on fatherhood, regrets and his thoughts on the current state of the grime scene.

Regardless of your thoughts on grime music in comparison to years gone by, "Better Than The Rest" exemplifies a scene that allows newcomers to emerge whilst always paying correct homage to its  forefathers.
