London played host to the MTV EMAs on Sunday night and once again, Stormzy, the golden boy of grime picked up more wins.

On the whole an eventful night for the 'GSAP' MC, he made off with the award for Best Local Act: UK & Ireland. His performance of 'GSAP' single "Big For Your Boots" was also the standout performance of the night, as he pulled up rhyming out of the roof of a police car.

Later in the night, Irish rock legends U2 receiving, the Global Icon award, paid tribute to Stormzy, with frontman Bono dropping a rendition of "Blinded By Your Grace, Pt.2," setting social media ablaze.
