To coincide with the release of next season’s Premier League fixtures announcement, Nike have revealed the new Flight match ball for 2023/24.

The Swoosh Family have described their latest ball iteration as the perfect mix between “art and science” courtesy of its orange paint swirl design and AerowSculpt technology.

Nike’s ball flight tech helps to promote air movement around the ball to reduce any unsteady movement to make for a stable flight – essentially, the Flight ball creates a more predictable and consistent path of travel for those who play with it. AerowSculpt technology also gives the ball its unique look.

The eye-catching orange design is planted on a crisp white base whilst a curving black band surrounds the ball to aid with vision and recognition of the ball when in motion. The design is also inspired by the diversity of over 121 nationalities represented in the league, with each player’s nation represented by coordinates printed in iridescent purple ink that runs across the ball.

In addition, the Flight ball also repurposes Nike All Conditions Control (ACC) 3D ink, using the 3D ink layout to strategically print “micro flaps” along Nike AerowSculpt.

The ball will get its first bit of action the weekend of 12 August, when the Premier League kicks-off again.
