Daniel Sturridge is throwing it back to 2014.
The Liverpool striker is in the midst of a mini-revival, following a few seasons plagued by injuries and bad luck, and we might have just discovered why.
After scoring six goals in pre-season, Sturridge also found the net in Liverpool's first Premier League game of the season this past weekend just 24 seconds after coming off the subs bench.
Upon closer inspection, it looks like Daniel Sturridge has gone back to wearing an original pair of Nike Hypervenoms, which originally dropped during the 2013/14 season. As a Nike athlete, it's believed Sturridge is actually meant to be wearing Nike's new PhantomVSN boot.

Sturridge scored 24 goals for Liverpool in 2013/14 – the most prolific year of his career to date – and is out to recapture that form by any means necessary.
The sauce has returned.
