Liverpool winger Harry Wilson has joined Bournemouth on a season-long loan.

The 22-year-old sauced up the Championship on loan at Derby County last season, firing in 15 goals and notching 3 assists to lead the Rams to the Championship play-off final. Wilson also impressed in pre-season, where he scored against Borussia Dortmund and a trademark rocket against Lyon.

Bournemouth paid a £2.5m loan fee with another £500,000 due in bonuses depending on performance to secure the Welshamn, with no option to buy included in the deal.

Speaking about the move,  Wilson told Bournemouth's website, "It's great to be here, great to finally get everything sorted and I can't wait to meet all the staff and the lads.

"When Liverpool informed me it was a possibility to come here I was keen to get it sorted. I want to play Premier League football and with a great team like Bournemouth. With the style of play that Bournemouth are likely to play, I feel that I can fit right in and help the team a lot."

Bournemouth will be without Wilson's fellow 22-year-old Wales baller David Brooks who's out injured for three months, with Wilson set for plenty of game time in his absence on the south coast under Eddie Howe's tutelage. The pair could form one of the stand-out attacking partnerships outside the Top 6 should the pair replicate last season's form in 19/20 – keep an eye out for the link up once Brooks returns from the sidelines.
