Joe Gomez has shared his story so far in episode one of 'The Journey', produced by Young Athlete TV in collaboration with Nike Football.

Still just 20-years-old, Gomez has become an established force in the Premier League for Liverpool after making the move to Merseyside from Charlton Athletic in the summer of 2015.

Now England U21 captain, Gomez talks candidly about life growing up in Lewisham, playing Powerleague with his friends and the challenges that come with a life in professional football.
