Ryan Sessegnon has joined the likes of Kylian Mbappé and Christian Pulisic on the revised shortlist for the Golden Boy Award 2018.
A new shortlist of 60 names has been published – cut from a longlist of 100 – as nominees for the 2018 award, which crowns the most promising young player on the planet.
18-year-old England prospect Sessegnon is a new nominee, having been omitted from the original longlist of 100 names because Fulham wasn't a Premier League club at the time. Nominees need to be playing in the top tier of a European league to qualify for the prize, so he can now be considered following Fulham's promotion.
Other Premier League players in contention for the award include Trent Alexander-Arnold, Phil Foden, Brahim Diaz and Tom Davies.
PSG star Kylian Mbappé, who won the prize last year, is favourite to come out on top again after his heroics at Russia 2018.
