RB Leipzig will become Nike's tenth elite team alongside Atletico, Barcelona, Chelsea, Galatasaray, Inter, Liverpool, PSG, Roma and Tottenham from the 2020/21 season, with the German club set to be blessed with an Air Max-inspired kit as part of their new status.

After penning a deal with Nike from 2014 following their promotion from Bundesliga 2 and have quickly risen up the ranks and firmly established as one of the Bundesliga’s best clubs.

Die Roten Bullen are currently second in the league, one point behind leaders Bayern Munich, and have just made the last 16 of the Champions League for the first time in their history under their much-hyped 32-year-old manager, Julian Nagelsmann.

RB will now receive a totally bespoke kit that will utilise the next-gen Vapor AeroSwift template, as well as a wavey third kit based on an Air Max model from the Nike archive.

Keep it locked to VERSUS to find out which silhouette Red Bull's third shirt will be inspired by, and in other Nike news, Virgil Abloh has linked up with the Swoosh on a bright new training apparel collection.
