Hitting screens in 2011, with a follow up series arriving two years later, Top Boy was praised for its accurate portrayal of London gang culture and inner city life, counting Drake amongst its many supporters.
The Canadian superstar has long been reported to be behind plans to bring back Top Boy with Walters revealing to Complex that Drake was “coming on board to help and try and push the situation forward.”
The hype is real.
