adidas have released another classic-inspired Predator to celebrate the boots’ 30th anniversary, this time paying homage to 2002’s Champagne Manias.

The latest Predators feature the iconic champagne, red and black colourway that was made famous by David Beckham during the Japan and South Korea World Cup 22 years ago. The red lines on the new release’s upper are also a nod to the 1998 Predator Accelerator.⁣

Having utilised feedback from both consumers and adidas athletes, the new Predator has undergone a series of updates designed – it’s also a taste of what’s to come from the all-new Predator model set to land in the New Year.⁣

The CONTROLFRAME 2.0 lightweight soleplate and heel construction, helps to optimise traction for dynamic movement and stability when striking the ball. A new fine-tuned upper – the HYBRIDTOUCH 2.0 – provides a moulded fit with cushioning in key contact areas for comfort and a soft touch on the ball.⁣

December marks the end of the franchise’s 30th anniversary celebrations. 2024 has seen the return of the beloved foldover tongue, advancements in boot technology, and a series of limited-edition re-releases of classic Predators for the nostalgia junkies. By blending the old and new, adidas have revitalised one of football’s most iconic boots.

The new Predator has already been teased by the likes of Jude Bellingham, Aitana Bonmatí, Pedri and Alessia Russo, and is now available to purchase online via adidas
