adidas have unveiled "their most innovative boot ever" - the new Energy Mode X18+

Labelled as such by the leading adidas designers who took over 2 years to create and construct the new ultra-lightweight boot, the model has been created to "unleash the speed of the game’s most dangerous players."

The boot drops in a vivid blue and fluorescent green colourway and drew inspiration from one of adidas’ most successful ever boot silhouettes, the F50+.

The boot is designed with new innovations to provide stability and support at high speed, with a new Claw Collar for increased stability, Speedframe with lightweight Drillium tooling, Skeletal Weave for an ultra-lightweight outer shell and Speedmesh, which enables players maximum control without restricting movement of the foot.

The boots will be worn by Mo Salah in the Champions League final and some of the world’s top players such as Luis Suarez, Thomas Muller and Gabriel Jesus at the World Cup this summer. Check them trying the Energy Mode X18+ out in the images below.
