Saucy OGC Nice winger Allan Saint-Maximin is reportedly on the verge of a move to Tyneside, with Newcastle looking to sign the winger in an €18m + add-ons move.

Saint-Maximin is one of the drippiest players in Ligue 1, who set social media alight after scoring while donning a Gucci headband back in January of this year.

Now, the flossy French forward is set to tear up the Toon, with reliable French outlet RMC reporting that Newcastle United representatives are currently in Nice to close a deal for 22-year-old.

The report reads "It is understood that Lee Charnley is currently on the Mediterranean to finalise a deal that has been negotiated for several weeks. The Magpies are confident of concluding an €18m + bonuses agreement. There are still finer details being worked on with OGC Nice, as well as agent commissions, to resolve before a deal can become official."

Saint-Maximin is one of the best dribblers in France, having completed more take-ons than any other player in Ligue 1 last season and recently showcasing what he can do to Premier League opponents this week after scoring against Burnley in a OGC Nice pre-season friendly.
