Kappa and Real Betis have released a special edition kit to highlight the club's ongoing commitment to ethical production and sustainability.

The kit’s manufacturing process required minimum energy levels and water consumption, with the club also choosing to select cotton based on how it had been cultivated - opting for a process that avoided the use of toxic chemicals completely. Both the brand and club made the conscious decision to select locally manufactured fabric in order to reduce transportation emissions. 60 plastic bottles were also recycled from every kilogram of yarn used in the shirt's production.

Aligned with Betis' traditional colours, the shirt's green colourway, accented with a white trim, represents nature as much as the makeup of its material.

In the club's release video, Real Betis have superimposed a tree into the middle of the Benito Villamarín as a nod to their commitment to ethically sourced product and environmentalism. With long-time sustainability advocate Hector Bellerin shown walking onto the pitch, proudly donning the latest drop - followed by fellow teammates Juanmi and William Caravalho .

Real Betis will showcase their new strip in their upcoming La Liga fixture against Athletic Club on March 13th, and is available to purchase - in limited quantities - from March 10th, via the official club shop.
