Bayern Munich's emerging 17-year-old talent Jamal Musiala has just received his first England U21 call up after a breakthrough start to the season.
The attacking midfield player has made eight appearances for the European champions so far this season and became the club's youngest league goalscorer when he bagged his first senior goal in Bayern's 8-0 win over Schalke in September.

The German-born – but England-raised – player followed this up with a second goal during a big win over Frankfurt, and a Champions League debut against RB Salzburg this past week. Jamal moved to England as a seven-year-old and attended secondary school in Croydon, where he developed in Chelsea's academy before returning to Bayern Munich.
He's played for England and U15, U16 and U17 level previously – but he's also played with Germany at U16 level, and both nations are reportedly fighting for Musiala's future representation.

Elsewhere in the squad, Derby County's Lee Buchanan receives his first call up in defence – while the likes of Tariq Lamptey, Jude Bellingham, Curtis Jones, Callum Hudson-Odoi and Eddie Nketiah all return to Aidy Boothroyd's squad.
