Nike have just unveiled the 2019's England Women's home and away shirts ahead of this summer's World Cup.

Created specifically for the Lionesses' in mind, Nike serve up two fresh takes on the traditional home and away jerseys, which are delivered in England's traditional white and red colourways.

The 2019 England Women’s home look is stripped back, but accented by two new dark red cuffs. “The flood-white look gives an aura of strength and purity. This minimalism translates as sophistication and confidence — perfect for this team,” says Cassie Looker, Nike Women’s Football Apparel Lead.

The socks contain a new, bespoke hand-drawn print which highlights types of flora native to the counties and regions of England, “The common poppy, primrose, rosebay willowherb, wood anemone, spring gentian, Nottingham catchfly and traditional rose intermingle with the hop to form a floral pattern that represents the entire country,” explains Looker.

This same pattern usage is seen in the all-over coverage on the red away strip, with the floral design covering the kit's shirt and socks. Rendered in a slightly darker shade exclusive for the women’s team, the kit incorporates the St. George’s Cross on the shirt and a unique dark red crush-colored crest exclusive to the Lionesses. Get a closer look at the new Lioness' kit detailing below.

“It is great to see kits designed specifically with us in mind," says Kirby. "The home kit is really classic, while the pattern of the away is exciting and new." The 2019 England Women’s Collection will also include an anthem jacket, training apparel and an off-pitch collection, which will be unveiled soon.

In related football shirt news, adidas Football have also dropped off their wavey Women’s World Cup home jerseys.
