Louis Vuitton have officially announced Jude Bellingham as a ‘Friend of the House’, with the England and Real Madrid star joining fellow ambassadors Pusha T, Carlos Alcaraz and Victor Wembanyama.
Last summer, Bellingham was spotted sitting front row at LV’s Paris Fashion Week show – sat alongside his brother and Sunderland player, Jobe Bellingham, as well as Manchester United’s Marcus Rashford. Since then, it’s been rumoured that the 21-year-old would be joining the French fashion label, in a deal that’s been speculated to be worth millions.
When picking up the Kopa Trophy at the Ballon d’Or awards ceremony back in October, Bellingham wore a custom LV suit. The all-black double-breasted blazer with pearl buttons was paired with flared trousers, a look that made many realise Bellingham was as serious about fashion as he is about scoring goals.
For his recent ambassador announcement shoot – created by none other than Gabriel Moses – Bellingham once again dons double-breasted suits alongside embossed LV jackets, high-waisted flares and a chunky-knit cardigan for a more casual look.
Since taking over as LV’s Men’s Creative Director, Pharrell Williams has brought the worlds of fashion and sport even closer together. Lewis Hamilton, LeBron James, Paul Pogba, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Marcus Thuram, Jadon Sancho and more, have all attended fashion shows and events with the brand.
As the most sought after footballer in the game right now, it makes sense that Bellingham has officially joined one of fashion’s most in demand imprints. What’s next? A custom JB x LV wash bag…bring on the tunnel fits.
