Raheem Sterling has said that he wants to see Phil Foden lining up alongside him for England after assisting the Stockport-born baller to score another Champions League goal for his boyhood club.
Manchester City ran out comfortable 2-0 winners over Dinamo Zagreb after Sterling and Foden came off the bench to both bag goals and send the Sky Blues top of their Champions League group.

After the game, Raz was delighted with what he saw from the 19-year-old starlet, saying, "I am buzzing for Phil and I want him in the national team, if he keeps going he will be there."

Manager Pep Guardiola was also high in praise for the young baller, saying that he was "so sorry" he couldn't field him more often. "I know my friend, he deserves to play, I want to give him minutes, every time he plays I'm completely impressed with him. But there's Kevin De Bruyne, Bernardo, David Silva, Rodri. I'm so sorry. Be patient."
Phil Foden again showcased exactly what he can do when given minutes on the field. He's a generational talent just like ex-City baller Jadon Sancho – but right now their stories are very different.
