Art of Football and Gillette have linked up to drop a one-of-a-kind football kit, tapping into ‘80s nostalgia for a limited-edition release.
The jersey riffs off of Gillette’s ‘The Best a Man Can Get’ song – originally released in 1989 and remade in 2024 by Tom Grennan to create an unofficial national anthem during England’s Euros campaign.
Drawing inspiration from ‘80s kit design, the shirt has a retro feel to it, with a Gillette blue base and geometric gradient pattern that mimics a razor cutting through stubble. An oversized white collar is tipped in neon green, matching the outline of the vintage Gillette crest.
Gillette serves as a shirt sponsor, with the slogan ‘The Best a Man Can Get’ printed beneath the logo and again on the back of the shirt.
On the sleeve, a neon green design features the five-blade motif synonymous with the brand’s Gillette Labs collection.
All of the proceeds from the collaboration will go to Football Beyond Borders, an education and social inclusion charity using the power of football to change the lives of young people.
The jersey is available to purchase now on the Art of Football website.
